Over the past couple of years, Scandinavia has risen from the shadows as an unlikely contender in the fashion field. The Scandi can throw a look together, a seemingly inimitable aesthetic with zero effort (or at least, so it seems !). Known for unique design, clean lines and unconventional silhouettes, dressing like a Scandinavian has never been so on-trend.
If you want to see the coolest Scandi street looks with your own eyes, you can’t miss the Copenhagen Fashion Week: the biggest and most prestigious fashion event to take place in the Nordic Region, held annually every February and August.
Here you have some Scandi looks for your inspiration :
Gucci paid homage to David Bowie at the presentation of the AW16-17 Men collection in Milan yesterday with a black cardigan with “Bowie” written across the back, accompanied by animal embroidery and a large red heart.
I have always been a great admirer of the Spanish interior designer Patricia Urquiola, everything she does seems to turn into gold. My biggest dream would be to one day work with her !
She has recently transformed the Missioni boutique in Paris ! I love how she used the textures and the colors in a very glamourous way to fit the spirit of the Missoni house so perfectly. She has used unique Parisian details that have been weaved in with the motifs so present in Missoni’s style like the zigzag, the stripes, chevron and geometrics, to create a bold new design for Missoni. Just fabulous !
