Rebecca Louise Law’s celebration of spring

I personally know the floral artist Rebecca Louise Law from her artistic floral collaborations with fashion houses such as Hermès and Mulberry.

This week, the artist presented her first outdoor installation for the West End shopping district St Christopher’s Place.  With the simple idea of ‘the arrival of spring’ at its core, her artwork will feature Peony Roses – a prevalent symbol of the season – alongside complementary blooms, rigged above the pedestrianised street. Around 1,200 flowers will be suspended and will dangle over visitors like a cascading Spring veil….

“Apfel called Parisians’ style “chic and perennial but not daring enough for my taste.”
